Am I Eligible?

If you are 70½ or older at the time of your gift, you are eligible to give through your IRA. Your spouse may also contribute if they meet the same age requirement and have an IRA.

How Much Can I Give?

You may contribute up to $100,000 per year from your IRA. If your spouse also owns an IRA, they may contribute up to $100,000 as well.

IRA charitable gifts are straightforward and generally excluded from taxable income, allowing you to support CPA while maximizing your giving strategy.

Important Details

  • Gifts must be sent directly from your IRA custodian or administrator to Children’s Place Association
  • Please ask your custodian to make the check payable to Children’s Place Association and include your name and address
  • To qualify for the current tax year, transfers must be completed by December 31
  • We recommend initiating your gift by December 15 to ensure timely delivery
