Where Every Child Can Thrive
Where Every Child Can Thrive
Creating Pathways to Brighter Futures
Our Goal
We aim to transform this Westside community into a place where every child can thrive, fostering an environment filled with opportunities and support. By expanding resources in this neighborhood, we aim to create a vibrant community where children can grow, learn, and reach their full potential.
Child Thrive: A Community Approach to Supporting Youth and Families
Located in the revitalizing community of West Humboldt Park, the Child Thrive community center empowers residents to improve living conditions, strengthen community ties, and promote health and safety. We believe real change starts with local involvement.
Inspiring Youth to Thrive
Child Thrive tackles systemic racism and inequity by:
- Preventing and addressing child trauma
- Providing health and wellness services
- Promoting social and emotional learning
- Improving family environments
A NEIGHBORHOOD SOLUTION
Inspired by West Humboldt Park’s resilience, Child Thrive offers youth mentoring, trauma counseling, support groups, healthcare access, and after-school programs. Partnering with schools, we ensure children grow in a safe, supportive environment.
Since July 2021, Child Thrive collaborates with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Juvenile Protective Association, Rush Medical Center, and the West Humboldt Park Development Council to build resilience and empower youth. We continue to build new neighborhood partnerships.
