If Jakina had a superpower, it would be teleportation, allowing her to effortlessly move from school to school and connect with even more youth. This unique ability would enable her to make a significant impact across multiple locations, reaching and inspiring countless young minds. ✨🚀
For Jakina, the most rewarding aspect of her position as the Child Thrive Director is serving the Austin, West Humboldt Park, and surrounding northwest and west community areas. Being a native west sider who grew up in North Lawndale and attended high school in Austin, she finds immense joy in giving back to the community that shaped her. 🌍💛👨🏾👩🏾👧🏾👦🏾
When it’s time to unwind with some comfort food, Jakina’s go-to choice is tacos. 🌮❤️
Outside of her dedicated work at CPA, Jakina enjoys exploring her culinary skills, constantly searching for new recipes and learning about different cuisines. She also loves reading and is always on the lookout for the next captivating book. Additionally, Jakina is passionate about traveling and dreams of visiting all seven continents before she retires. 📚✈️
