At Children’s Place, we serve children with the highest needs—those experiencing poverty, disability, illness, homelessness, and trauma. But:

  • Delayed government reimbursements mean we wait months for funds already promised—while our bills, staff salaries, and urgent services can’t wait.

  • Cuts to HHS and state human services are shutting down prevention programs, leaving families without access to mental health care, stable housing, or child development supports.

  • Families who can’t access childcare or transportation can’t work—so they can’t pay rent or put food on the table. It’s a domino effect, and children suffer most.
