As we gear up for the fourth quarter, we take a moment to reflect on a month full of wonderful moments with children, families, and partners. Our youngest learners practiced bus safety with the help of our friends from Publicis Sapient, Ingredion shared their talented team to help us highlight our mission, and Cafe Group brought energy and care to spruce up one of our Supportive Housing apartments. Laughter filled the rooms, connections were made, and we are inspired and excited to continue our vital work while strengthening our community partnerships.

Take a look at the highlights below.

Playful Partnerships
We were thrilled to welcome volunteers from Publicis Sapient to our Early Learning Center. Their team spent time playing with the children and also supported our staff during a bus evacuation drill, helping our little learners practice bus safety and preparedness. We are grateful for their time, energy, and continued partnership.

Lights, Camera, Action
We were honored to welcome our partners from Ingredion to our Early Learning Center, where they spent the day capturing video stories that highlight our “why.” The impact of early childhood education is at the heart of our mission, and it was a joy to share our classrooms, our incredible students, and the dedication of our team.

We are especially grateful to Ingredion data scientist Aaren, who has been volunteering his professional skills to strengthen CPA’s work.

Thank you to Ingredion for helping us tell our story and amplify the importance of early learning every day.

Home Sweet Home
We are so grateful to our incredible partner, Cafe Group, for joining us for a special day of service in our Supportive Housing program. Their team rolled up their sleeves to help set up a new home for one of our recipients, building furniture, making beds, and lining cabinets with care. The home reveal was a heartfelt moment, and we could not be more grateful for their generosity and hands-on support in creating a warm and welcoming space.

(sept ) Cafe Group

A massive shoutout to Team CPA for bringing this apartment reveal project to life! From organizing trades and remodels to donating furniture, planning logistics, and setting up every detail, your hard work and dedication made the reveal a genuinely memorable experience. Thank you for going above and beyond to create a home filled with comfort and care for Ms. Jasmine.

Child Thrive

Month in Review
After leading a successful eight week camp from June through August, our Child Thrive team is now preparing to return to KIPP for fall afterschool programming. The new session begins at the end of the month, and we cannot wait to welcome new Thrivers while reconnecting with those returning.

Ride the Bus
Teaching does not just happen in the classroom, it happens wherever we go. This time, our students practiced a bus evacuation drill. With our staff guiding them step by step, they learned how to exit quickly and safely in case of an emergency. We could not be prouder of how calm, focused, and brave they were. Moments like this remind us that learning and growth happen everywhere.

International

Our Child Thrive Coalition is dedicated to helping children who face both serious illnesses and the challenges of poverty worldwide. With comprehensive support, the program empowers children to regain their health, succeed in school, and build pathways to meaningful and stable employment. By walking alongside them every step of the way, Child Thrive ensures every young person has the chance to grow, learn, and flourish, no matter the obstacles.

Our longest-running program, Child Thrive Haiti, is a shining example of this impact. Youth who once received support to attend university or technical school are now stepping into careers in their own communities. In fact, 73% of our Haitian graduates are employed, an extraordinary accomplishment in a country where the youth employment rate is only 37.5% and many families continue to face difficult conditions.

As we welcome the fall season and launch our annual Place the Hope campaign, we look forward to sharing more inspiring stories from Child Thrive projects and showing how you can help support these incredible kids.
