John joined Children’s Place in January 2007, bringing with him 18 years of international management experience including living and working in Kenya, Francophone Africa, and South East Asia.  He served as Executive Director of AID Village Clinics, an organization providing HIV/AIDS services to over 1,600 individuals in rural communities in Kenya.  John worked for seven years with Baxter Healthcare’s International Group, and served as a Peace Corp volunteer in Gabon.  He holds a Masters in Management from Northwestern University in International Management and speaks French fluently
