Special events are a key fundraising component for The Children’s Place Association and provide an opportunity for friends and supporters to come together to raise money for a cause they are passionate about and honor those who have embraced our mission.

4 the Love of Art 2010 (6-9-2010)

Attendees of fifth annual 4 the Love of Art enjoyed creativity and cocktails for our cause at Townhouse Restaurant & Wine Bar.

18th Annual Once Upon A Time Gala (5-1-2010)

Attendees of the 18th Annual Once Upon A Time Gala traveled to The Land of Make Believe under the Tiffany Dome at the Chicago Cultural Center.

2010 Gala Kick Off Reception (3-25-2010)

Friends and supporters of The Children's Place Association gathered to kick off the 2010 Once Upon A Time Gala.  The event was held in the beautiful LUMINAIRE Showroom while food and drinks were provided by Jewell Events Catering.  

Steelcase Wreath and Menorah Design Competition (12-3-2009)

The Steelcase Wreath and Menorah Design Competition and Charity Auction is an annual highlight for The Children's Place Association.  Each year Steelcase puts together a spectacular event to benefit our children and families.  These photos capture some of the amazing designs developed at this year's event.

AIDS Run/Walk 2009 (10-3-2009)

The 2009 AIDS Run/Walk was a huge success with a record number of runners and walkers for The Children's Place Association and more than $41,000 raised.

4 The Love of Art 2009 (6-10-2009)

The Professional Partners of The Children's Place Association raised more han $16,000 through this annual art sale and cocktail event.

17th Annual Once Upon A Time Gala (4-4-2009)

Passport to the World was the theme of the 2009 gala which was held at Chicago’s Union Station.

Steelcase Wreath and Menorah Design Competition (12-4-2008)

The annual Wreath and Menorah Design Competition was held at the Steelcase showroom at the Merchandise Mart. The proceeds from the sale of the designed pieces benefit the children and families of The Children’s Place Association.

AIDS Run/Walk 2008 (11-20-2008)

The annual AIDS Run/Walk is the opportunity for individuals and families to come together and help raise money for The Children's Place Association. The 5k run/walk takes place on the gorgeous lake shore of Chicago and entertainment is provided along the route.
