“Thank you for helping me . . .I am not afraid anymore for the future of my kids.” - translated from Creole – Parent in Haiti Program
Children's Place International helps children living in a world of HIV/AIDS become empowered young adults with health, skill sets and confidence to break the cycle of poverty.
In support of this mission, we are providing ongoing assistance to more than 400 children affected by HIV/AIDS in Haiti and working with partner organizations to deliver services to children in Botswana, Southern Africa.
In Haiti, our goals are high, but attainable with the services we are providing to families. These goals include:
- 90% of school-age children to be enrolled in school
- 75% of these children to pass to the next grade level after year one
- 75% of youth to graduate high school
- 75% of youth to graduate our program and enter university or earn a sustainable income
