"Thank you Children’s Place for saving my life"
– Parent
With more than 20,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Chicago, the lives of thousands of children are affected by by this illness. Since opening in 1991, The Children's Place Association has pioneered innovative services to address the unique challenges faced by low-income children and families impacted by HIV/AIDS and other life-changing health conditions.
Our Chicago programs strive to help these children and families live stronger and healthier lives.
Children's Place International was launched in 2007 to bring vital services to children affected by HIV/AIDS in other regions of the world. The goal is to help vulnerable children break the cycle of illness and poverty so they can grow to be healthy, productive adults. The program is currently working in the Caribbean and Southern Africa.
