Shaun Lane has been the Chief Program Officer at The Children's Place Association since the spring of 2004.  He has been in the child welfare field for 20 years, and has held positions in direct practice, public policy, and senior management.

Mr. Lane was previously at Prevent Child Abuse America where he served as the Vice President of Public Policy & Advocacy, and has also served as the Executive Vice President of Children's Home & Aid Society of Illinois.  He is currently a part-time lecturer at the University of Chicago , School of Social Service Administration and teaches graduate courses in both social welfare policy and nonprofit management.
