	Ivan Harrison Foster Care Program Manager

	Mr. Harrison started working at The Children's Place Association in November 2004 as the Foster Care Program Manager. He is a Licensed Child Welfare Services Employee (LCWSE), received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1994, and received a master of arts degree in psychology at Concordia University, River Forest, IL in 1998. Mr. Harrison previously worked for the Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) Foster Care and Adoption Program from August 1994 to Novenber 2004. At LSSI, Mr. Harrison worked as a child welfare specialist for 4 1/2 years, a child welfare supervisor for 1 1/2 years, and a senior supervisor (assistant program director) for 4 years; He also worked with the LSSI Second Family Program for 1 1/2 years, which is a program that provides services to HIV affected families. In addition to his employment at LSSI, he worked as a child care worker at the Victor C. Neumann Association - Youth Starting Over Program from August 1999 to March 2003.
