Cathy Krieger, LCSW, MA, MBA – President & CEO
Cathy Krieger, current president and CEO, has been with The Children’s Place Association since its inception. With more than 25 years of experience in social work she has help create and supervised all of The Children’s Place Association's programming since its beginning more than 18 years ago.
Cathy currently serves on the board of the Child Care Association and sits on the executive committee for AIDS Foundation of Chicago’s Service Providers Council.
Prior to joining The Children's Place Association Cathy served as the director of social services for the Cabrini Green Legal Aid Clinic.
She received her master's degree in business administration from The University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and a master’s degree in social work from The University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration. Cathy also graduated cum laude from Trinity International University, with a master’s degree in theology, and New College of Hofstra, with a bachelor’s degree in humanities.
