The Children’s Place Association values the role the corporate community plays in improving the lives of children and families in the community. Businesses can demonstrate their commitment to the community with a Corporate Sponsorship contribution - and help The Children’s Place Association bring vital programs and services to HIV/AIDS-affected children in the Chicago area.

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Sponsorships can be designated for essential general operating support, which enables The Children’s Place Association to achieve ongoing goals, or can be designated toward a specific program need or special project.

Current Program Needs / Special Projects

$2,500

  • Transportation Program – bus vouchers for a year for low-income families to get to medical, mental health, and social service appointments
  • Resource Library – HIV/AIDS, child development and related resources for client families and agency professionals
  • Holiday Meal Program – food vouchers for client families for holiday meals
  • New Cribs for Residential Program
  • Year-end Appeal – printing and mailing cost of agency year-end appeal (includes Company logo on appeal response card)
  • Newsletter – printing of one agency newsletter

$5,000

  • Summer Carnival – agency wide event for client families from all programs (includes Company Signage at event and volunteer opportunities)
  • Family Holiday Party - agency wide event for client families from all programs (includes Company Signage at event and volunteer opportunities)
  • Residential Program Playroom Renovation – new carpeting and windows in basement playroom
  • Food Program – emergency food vouchers for low-income families for one year
  • Field Trips for Day Care children – bi-monthly field trips for the children enrolled in the Day Care Program

$10,000

  • Professional Development – specialized training program for agency employees
  • Organizational Advancement – needs assessment for future agency growth and expansion
  • Emergency Assistance Program – discretionary funds for client family emergency needs; funeral expenses, utility support, rental assistance, and basic needs

$15,000

  • Residential Program Renovation – redecoration and minor renovation of agency Residential Program providing 24-hour childcare and nursing to children with complex medical issues
  • IT Upgrade – networking classroom computers, software, staff training, etc.
  • Security System – installation of new security system, including cameras, at the agency’s Residential Center or Family Center facility in Humboldt Park

Corporate contributors may also consider the following:

  • Workplace Giving – an easy and convenient way for employees to donate
  • Benefit Gala Sponsorship – the annual benefit gala raises 10% of the agency’s operating budget and offers several recognition benefits
  • Special Projects – employees can raise funds for a specific project, participate in donation drives such as the annual Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program, or organize an event for the children and families served by the agency

All Corporate Sponsorship Contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
