The 2008 “Once Upon a Time...On the Starlite Express ” black-tie benefit gala was a fantastic success, raising over
$400K in net proceeds for The Children's Place Association's programs for HIV/AIDS-affected children and families.

Approximately 460 guests attended the party, held at Union Station in Chicago on April 5, 2008.
With a magical ambiance created by Joseph Leigh Designs, festivities included dinner by Jewell Events Catering,
dancing with live music provided by the Stu Hirsh Orchestra, delicious novelty vodka drinks provided by Grey Goose,
a silent auction and several fabulous raffle prizes courtesy of
American Airlines and the Costello Jewelry Company.
